Site Inspection

All areas rented at Gleneagles Events must be left in the same condition as before the event. At the conclusion of the event, a site inspection performed by the on-site manager will be completed to check for any damage to our property. Any damage to Gleneagles property will result in additional charges to the guest.


Provisions

A signed copy of this contract is mandatory to reserve a date for your event. Gleneagles facility management, bar service, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, rental fees and labor charges are due as outlined in the payment schedule section of this document. Acceptable forms of payment include: Cash, Check or Major Credit Card. 


Alcohol

Prices for wine, beer and liquor are subject to change. Gleneagles alcohol policy allows for alcoholic service to guests 21 years of age or older, when presenting proper identification. Gleneagles is the only authority licensed to purchase and sell alcohol on premise. Therefore, by law outside vendors and individuals are not permitted to bring alcohol onto Gleneagles property. We reserve the right to refuse service to any guest who cannot present proper identification, or who is deemed intoxicated. Any taking or distribution of illegal drugs or paraphernalia on the premises will be asked to leave the property and authorities contacted.


Non-Smoking Facility

Smoking is strictly prohibited at our facility except for the designated area located near the Tasting Room entrance. Receptacles are provided in the designated smoking area only. A $250 cigarette butt clean-up fee will be assessed for any clean up required in non-designated smoking areas.


Sound Monitoring

Gleneagles reserves the right to require guest to cease using any music deemed inappropriate and retains the right to reduce volume at any time. Gleneagles retains the right to stop music at the specific end time as controlled by the City of Twinsburg’s noise ordinance.


Guaranteed Guest Count

All guests must submit a guaranteed count of guests two weeks prior to the event. This will set the charges for the event. No cancellation of services or reduction of guest count may be made after the guarantee is provided. Additional charges will apply when necessary to guest counts that are greater than the original guaranteed count.


Vendors

Guests are responsible for providing Gleneagles Events with a list of outside vendors that are contracted for their event, along with contact information. Gleneagles Events will assume the responsibility of coordinating the schedule for all deliveries, pick-up and set-up times.


Payment Schedule

In order to reserve the room along with a signed agreement, twenty-five (25%) of the anticipated total is due and acts as a non-refundable deposit to secure the event date.

Ninety (90) days prior to the event a payment of fifty percent (50%) of the anticipated total is due

Five (5) days prior to the event a payment of twenty percent (20%) of the anticipated total is due.

The balance of all charges including, but not limited to, all remaining consumables, service, tax, and gratuities shall be due within 5 days at the conclusion of the event. Guest agrees and understands that the final bill will vary from the proposed estimate as the final bill is a reflection of the actual service hours works and all final event consumables and charges.

Any check returned for non-sufficient funds will incur all applicable fee/charges that Gleneagles Events faces as a result of the insufficient funds. Any amounts not paid to Gleneagles Events when due may accrue interest after the date of such payment at a rate of 18% per annum. The guest will be responsible for any and all costs and expenses incurred by Gleneagles Events in the collection of any amounts due from the guest; including but not limited to attorney fees, court costs and related expenses. In the event that the guest/signee of this contract fails to make a scheduled payment, Gleneagles Events may cancel this contract.


Service Charge & Sales Tax

A service charge of 20% and 6.75% sales tax will be applied to all food and beverage charges.


Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be received in writing and will be liable for the following:

From signing of the contract to ninety (90) days prior to the event: Forfeit of the facility rental fee/deposit.

From ninety (90) days to the event date: Forfeit the first payment of the anticipated total of 25%. Forfeit of the second payment of the anticipated total of 50%.


Acts of God

Gleneagles Events shall not be held liable for non-performance of this agreement when said non-performance is attributed to Acts of Gods including but not limited to fires, tornados, flash floods, national emergencies and other causes whether listed herein or not, which are beyond the reasonable control of Gleneagles Events.
